Having spent over 15 years in childcare as a full-time nanny, then working behind the scenes as the lead coordination director with a Detroit based agency since 2024. On top of being the mom to a busy 9 year old daughter. I have seen it all and done it all and I have seen what works and what really doesn’t
What I kept seeing during my years as a nanny and when hiring my own childcare when my daughter was young, was how often this process often felt rushed, impersonal, and honestly just off. Families were handed a list of candidates and expected to figure it out, nannies not given any instruction or guidance on the process. Nannies were treated like they were interchangeable. And when a placement didn’t work, everyone was left frustrated.
When you work with me, you are not just another intake form. I want to know how your home actually runs, what your days look like, what matters to you, and what has not worked in the past. I am involved, I am honest, and I am intentional about every match I help make.
I also care deeply about the nanny side of this. The best placements happen when nannies are respected, supported, and treated like professionals. That is something I do not compromise on, and it is a big part of why my matches work long term.
There are a lot of agencies in the Chicagoland area. What makes Skyline different is that this is personal to me. I am not trying to place the most families and nannies. I am trying to place the right ones.
